The entire inside of the iso-booth was covered by professional acoustical audio barrier, under the sheets of drywall. This acoustic (or audio) barrier is 2 pounds per square foot and is specifically designed to GREATLY reduce the transmission of sound or STDs (see technical spec at bottom).
After application of the audio barrier, a professional, studio grade, acoustically sealant was applied to ALL the seems, as well as, joints between walls, ceiling and floor to ensure it is soundproof (essentially, "air tight"). |
